There can’t have been a shortage of better, snappier titles for a sequel to Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, 2009’s hit animated comedy about food weather. A small gripe, perhaps, but merely sticking 2 on the end doesn’t seem madcap enough. This time, whizzkid inventor Flint Lockwood (Bill Hader) must rescue the island of Swallow Falls from being entirely overrun by food animals, which his most successful device has accidentally spawned.
