The expansion of the workforce comes as a needed shot in the arm for Ford to offset some upcoming problems. The MyFord Touch product, billed as an Infotainment system, has been plagued with issues.  Although 80 percent of new Ford owners end up with the system, issues like the backup camera going black while backing up and the system freezing have angered many customers. It looks as though MyFord Touch owners are hiring lawyers and gearing up for a trip to court for a class action lawsuit. Ford has come out with several upgrades over the lifespan of the MyFord Touch but the main bugs are still there.
