Holmes might not need the practice in training camp that younger players would, but "week-to-week" probably starts to eat into the regular season. After all, the Jets take on the Bucs and Darrelle Revis in under four weeks. Realistically, given the stage Holmes is at now, it seems unlikely that the receiver would be ready for that game. Rex Ryan, however, wouldn't rule it out.
