Exercising on an empty stomach isn't a great idea but it can be a hard habit to break. Marcia's post-exercise breakfast is good for replacing spent energy, though. Protein-based snacks and fruit keep her going and are packed with nutrients. She could include more carbohydrate with her meals: quinoa, grainy bread, sweet potato or rye bread would work.
