And maybe if Hunt were alive he'd somehow be flattered by the thuggish portrayal. But if it never happened, a disavowal would be inevitable, because some pesky journalist would ask about the fictitious fisticuffs, in order to create a public record for curious filmgoers who want a roadmap back to reality.
