Bluefish are in. The Sheepshead Bay blues boats such as Flamingo III are happy about that, especially since their daytime success with that species should pick up. Lately, only evening trips along the Long Island South Shore, as well as in the Sound, have been productive. But as we know, hungry blues can also wreak havoc for other anglers by interfering with fluke rigs. So this is a mixed blessing.
