Not in at the moment http://efukt.fun efukt.com One of the mysteries of Falla is that this deeply religious man wrote no religious music, instead pouring much of his creative energies into works of lusty, pagan sensuality. The ballet El Amor Brujo (Love the Magician) is one of them. Originally composed in 1914 for small chamber group as a vehicle for the dancer Pastora Imperio, Falla rescored it a decade later. The later version shows Falla’s amazing orchestral finesse, which he achieved (like everything else in his art) with painstaking labour. The Ritual Fire Dance soon became a smash hit.
