Mike Tomlin got tough this week. He took away the Steelers’ locker room games. That’s about all he’s got left now that the team has put itself into an 0-4 hole. Like the Giants, the Steelers are having a hard time figuring out exactly what’s gone wrong but they, too, have a winning tradition and should be coming out of the bye week prepared to play their best game of the year. The Jets showed a lot of character by bouncing off the canvas to win a road game against a desperate Falcons team. Now, on a short week, they face a team that has had more than a week to prepare for them. Four of the last five games between the teams have been decided by five or fewer points, with the Steelers winning the last three.
